Hey dears!

Happy Chinese New Year from my part of the world! Wishing you health, happiness, love and abundance in the Year of Dragon!

I can't believe 3 months had just passed quickly after my last post. I know I know...I am supposed to post my ODJs and new loots...LOL! I owe you gals big time. I am really working on the pictures. If you see my loot below...you will understand why it's taking me soooo long!!!

My new "H" loot

A lot has been happening lately...especially the "big project" I was talking about in my last post. It's really coming true!! Well, it all started when Steve Jobs died in October.....and one day I was watching his speech delivered at the Stanford University before he died. I really cried so hard when I heard his speech, as I was having some kind of depression after my trip back from Paris because I learned that I have hypothyroid after my check-up. :( Hypothyroid is not really that big of a deal, but then it is all about hormones and it will be haunting me forever, and I have to take all these bloody medicines and supplements all my life. Aside from that, I had been sick with a bad cough for almost 2 months....it comes and go and comes back again. Sad right? Oh well, anyways, Steve Job's speech inspired me so much.....these are his words that stuck in my mind:
- "Your time on this earth is limited, don't live someone else's life, live by your vision."
- "Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
- "Stay hungry, Stay Foolish"

For those who know me well, I am sure you know why I am doing this. Since I was a teenager, I have been really interested in the French language and French culture. I love anything French - the language, the people, the food, the culture, the arts, the fashion..........the good and the bad. LOL! Since I was young, I have been dreaming of studying, living and working in Paris, but never got the guts to do so because of family and work obligations. Somehow, after listening to Steve Job's speech, I feel the "calling" that I need to do something for myself before it's too late. So, that is why I have decided to devote 3 months of my personal time to study intensive French in Paris and get to the next level. (I have studied French for 5 years in my high-school years, and I want to really master the language where I can do professional translations).

So that is basically my big project - staying in Paris for 3 months to study intensive French with complete cultural immersion! :) I already applied for the school, have an apartment to stay in, and booked my plane ticket. I am leaving end of next month...can't believe this is really happening and a dream come true for me! I am very thankful that my husband is very supportive of my decision and allowed me to be away from home for 3 months to pursue my dreams. I will miss my family, especially my son, during my 3-month stay in Paris, but good that we have modern technology like Skype nowadays...hehe! Besides, my son and husband will come visit me in Paris during Easter holidays so I really look forward to introduce such an amazing city to him!

Will I do any shopping while I am in Paris? LOL! Well, my studies will be full time 0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday, and stores close at 1900. So, that doesn't leave me a lot of time for shopping to be honest. Oh well, shopping can wait. I just want to experience a Parisienne way of life for those 3 months, and have the moment of my life! :) Can't wait to be back to a student again!

So there goes my update......I will really try to reveal my loot before I leave for Paris. Here is the teaser. :)

A warm hello from Hong Kong!

Dear all,

Apologies for abandoning my blog for so long. Summer had been busy with my toddler, who is going to be 4 years old next month! And September I was busy preparing for my toddler's new school year, before I went off to France for 2 weeks at the end of September with my husband to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary.

Anyway, at long last, I am back in Asia and back to my normal schedule. I have a lot of pictures to share with you on my Burgundy and Paris trip, and of course, my new loots!! I didn't really shop a lot this trip (as compared to my March trip this year)......just enjoying Paris and doing people watching and strolling through the city.

My schedule is very hectic these few weeks as I am preparing for a big "move" next year. Will let you know once everything is confirmed. It is a big step for me as I have never done anything like this before, but I want to do something for myself before it is too late. I think it will all be worth it in the end.

Another thing is that I just changed to MacBook Air last month, and I am still "learning" how to be a mac user (after so many years as an IBM ThinkPad die-hard fan), especially in the area of posting pictures, resizing, watermarking (still haven't found a perfect freeware for watermarking on MAC!!) etc. That is why I haven't yet uploaded any pictures from my France trip. :P

I will be working on the pictures starting next week and hopefully, I will be able to be back to blogging again next month. I have a couple of ODJs to post as well with my new Hermes and Chanel loot so stay tuned!

So sorry again for the silence. Thank you so much for all your support and patience! Till my next post!

T-Shirt or Scarf? Hermes "Monsieur et Madame" and other new buys..:)

It has been quite a while again since my last post. Tonight I found some time to post since my husband is not in town......so less duties for wife...hahaha! He went to Europe for business trip (wish I can tag along! LOL!).

Anyway, I want to share with you some of my new purchases from Hermes. :) Now you know I am a total "scarf addict"! LOL!
**(For those of you who are tPF regulars, you might have already seen these pics at the H forum so you can totally skip my post. :))

For this 1st scarf, it's the first time Hermes has done this type of material for their scarf. I really enjoy wearing it in different ways!

"Monsieur et Madame" in Gris Chine/Orange/Rouge Vif)

It's 100% Cotton, and it's a stretchable fabric. It's exactly the material you use for T-shirts, except it's comparatively thinner and softer.

Ex-Libris Cotton Stole in Noir/Rose/Vert

Ex-Libris is one of Hermes most classic prints.

This print has been issued in 90cm scarves, 140cm GM cashmere shawls, 70cm scarves, Gavroches etc.....it is one of my favourite!

The pink color on this black is not too "shocking". It's a bit muted hence making this color neutral enough to wear. The green stripe adds a fun element to this classic scarf...

It's made of 68% cotton and 32% silk. Very lightweight, soft and has a certain sheerness (but not as sheer as mousseline). This fabric is kind of like "voile", but voile is much more softer. Love this scarf for summer!

And I can't stop at one color! Here is another colorway!

I can't resist anything purple, so I bought this Ex-Libris cotton stole again in Purple....

Ex-Libris Cotton Stole in Violet/Jaune Vif/Rouge

It's really hard to capture the real color of this purple (like how it is with Iris leather color). In real life, this purple is a true purple, no bluish undertone at all...

And actually, my black Ex-libris cotton stole can mix well together with my purple Ex-libris.....

Mixing these 2 colors together gives the outfit even more pop of color!

I didn't expect to bring this home. But this color is just so versatile and soothing to the eyes, and unexpectedly, it matched well with my white/gray outfit that day!

These colors blend so well together...can wear with warm or cool toned outfits!

Play Time with Hermes Silks!

Hope you had a great weekend!

I have been a scarf collector since I started working....and I collect all kinds of scarves/shawls from small "no brand" local boutiques, from Japanese brands, and of course from my current favourite, HERMES! :)

I've never thought that I will collect Hermes scarves (which I started in 2009), as I've always associated them with the word "old-fashioned". But the irony is that I started my Hermes obsession with Hermes scarves!!! Never say never!! I think it's because of my soft spot for prints and colors, that explains why! There are so many great artists/designers for Hermes scarves (some of my current faves are Dimitri Rybaltchenko, Annie Faivre, Cathy Latham), and Hermes creative director M. Pierre-Alexis Dumas is always on the hunt for great emerging designers to collaborate with for Hermes silks artwork design. So, every season is really worth looking forward to! There is something for everyone, for every age!

This is a glimpse of one of my cabinets for my Hermes scarves (I still have another cabinet for my bigger Hermes 140cm shawls since their boxes are longer which can't fit into this smaller size cabinet).

If you notice, not all the boxes have the white Dymo label yet. I am still in the midst of labeling all my Hermes scarf boxes because as the number multiplies (and I must say on a fast track..LOL....from zero to now more than 150 pieces), I can't remember anymore which box is which scarf!

There are so many ways to tie/wear a Hermes scarf, it's all up to your creativity and that's the fun of it!! :D For me, anything goes as long as I'm comfortable with it. I wear my scarves as tops, as an accessory for layering, as belts, and of course as scarves.

Oh this is my 1st pair of 7 jeans and I love it to death! If you're looking for a dramatic bell bottom with a huge flair, THIS IS IT!!

I just folded the shawls into half (triangular shape) and then wrap the inverted triangle around my body so as to become a tube top tunic. Pretty easy! Hehe!

Playing with Hermes FW10 "Cent Plis Des Miao" 140cm GM Cashmere Shawl

Since the shawl is too long for me (I'm only 161cm tall), I have to fold the shawl a little at the top to make the length work for me. That extra cloth which was folded made up the triangular "collar"..

Just need to put the shawl at your back, and then tie a knot in the front using the top corners, and then put the knotted part behind your neck to be able to wear this as a long vest ...

My CHANEL LOOT from PARIS and some SHOPPING tips! :)

Hi dears,

As promised, this post is about my little CHANEL shopping spree in Paris. Well, if you've read my last post on Hermes, you know that I don't have much left in my wallet to shop for CHANEL! LOL! But I'm very contented with my current CHANEL collection, so I'm happy to bring home only these goodies this time.

For those who might be travelling to Paris and NOT residing in the European Union (E.U.), I just want to let you know the current "rules" of CHANEL boutiques in Paris (may not apply to department stores like Lafayette/Printemps/Le Bon Marche which have a CHANEL shop inside) in case you are planning to buy any Chanel items:

1. For Bags - each passport is ONLY allowed to buy 2 bags maximum
2. For Costume Jeweleries (CJs) - each passport is ONLY allowed to buy 4 pieces of CJs maximum, and among these 4 pieces, you cannot exceed a maximum of 2 pieces for each category of jewelery (so, you can buy 2 necklaces and 2 bracelets, but you cannot buy 3 necklaces and 1 bracelet because your necklace purchase have exceeded the limit of 2 pieces for each category)
3. For Wallets - each passport is ONLY allowed to buy 4 wallets maximum
4. For Shoes - NO LIMIT (phew!! I love CHANEL shoes! LOL!)
5. For Ready to Wear - NO LIMIT (phew!!! I love CHANEL RTW and will venture into this category maybe next year! LOL!)

** CHANEL in Paris is doing this because they want to prevent resellers (especially from Asia) from buying everything and anything from the boutiques. I think this is a great policy because I really HATE RESELLERS who charge such high prices vs. boutique prices and then in the end, we as the end-user suffer as there are nothing left in the boutiques to buy at normal prices because of these resellers snatching away everything, and then some end-users who are really desperate will have no choice but to buy from resellers at a huge premium.

Anyway, some shopping tips for purchasing at CHANEL in Paris:
(a) You are entitled to tax refunds if you are not an EU resident and leaving EU within 3 months. For CHANEL, you can opt of a CREDIT CARD REFUND (which is 13% refund on your card but will take at least 6 weeks to process), or you can opt for a CASH REFUND AT AIRPORT. But for Cash Refund at the airport, you are only entitled to around 11.5% refund. Also, when you submit the tax free form at the airport, there is a Eur3.00 per form processing fee. So, you will need to less the Eur3.00 processing fee from your final tax refund amount if you're taking cash refund. Which is better? Well, depends on the exchange rates and service charges of your country's credit cards. You can do the calculations. :D For me, I prefer cash refund because I don't like to wait that long, and I can take the cash to my local bank and exchange it to any currency anytime I want. :P

(b) For CHANEL BOUTIQUES, you are entitled to 13% tax refund for credit card refunds. But for CHANEL SHOPS INSIDE DEPARTMENT STORES, the tax refund is ONLY 12% even if you opt for credit card refund. So, please be aware of that difference. And the tax refund papers processing queue in the department stores are simply TOO LONG!! LOL!

(c) If you are into Costume Jeweleries, I find that the CHANEL boutique at Avenue Montaigne has the most selection, even better than the mothership store at Rue Cambon! If you have only limited time to shop for CHANEL and cannot go to all the 4 stand-alone boutiques, definitely choose to go to Rue Cambon and Avenue Montaigne for the best selection of goodies!

(d) I find that the SAs at Rue Royale are the friendliest, while SAs at Avenue Montaigne are always toooooo busy and it's hard to get an SA to serve you (since this shop is super busy, SAs tend to be not as friendly as the ones at Rue Royale)! SAs are Rue Cambon are great as well.

Anyway, hope the above will help those who are travelling to Paris for the first time and want to buy some lovely "souvenirs" from CHANEL! :D

I love the fact that this is a little twist to what Chanel usually does for earrings such as dangling pearls and flowers......this "leaf" is more special with the little khaki brushed effect on the gold.

I know I have been missing in action again. I have been lacking a helper at home the past weeks since one of my helpers went on holiday back to her hometown. So, it has been a bit hectic at home...:P Now that she is back, I have a little more time to do some blogging!

I did a little twist and chose white contrast stitching because I love the white contrast stitching on the Etoupe color, but then I love Gris T more for a birkin. So, why not combine the white stitching with Gris T? It won't be too strong a contrast on Gris T but still it will be different from others....hehe!

My initials stamped on the inside of the leather strap....this time in matching silver color

I love leather wrapped lock a lot so I specifically requested this on my special order when I made my order in 2009.....(but too bad that this year, leather wrapped lock is no longer offered unless you're ordering a white or exotic birkin...)

And comparing the padlock size of Shoulder Birkin and 35cm Birkin...

Last but not least....smaller grained togo on my Gris Tourterelle Birkin without any veins.....and larger grained togo on my Vert Veronese Shoulder Birkin with some veins...(maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I actually like more veins on the leather as it gives more "character" to the bag)

Decorating Miss Rubis with Hermes "Brides de Gala Bayadere" Pink Twillies..

I was originally thinking of doing a tone-on-tone or contrast stitching for this Rubis color. But then, I want this lovely raspberry color to be a nice neutral for me, and it is such a lovely leather color on its own, so instead I opted to keep its original stitching color. Besides all my other 3 SOs are with a different stitching color from the original version, so why not keep a Birkin with the original stitching color? (I really put a lot of thoughts on the specifications of my special orders before I take the plunge.)

My favorite leather covered lock and my initials blind stamped on the clochette...

I chose Pink because I wanted the pink undertone of Rubis to come out more (especially for this Togo leather which is more pinkish than the other leathers). I've originally thought of Rose Tyrien as the lining, but then the depth of pink is too similar to the Rubis, so I opted for this lighter Pink to have a tone-on-tone effect.

All-Leather Kelly Lakis 28cm in Etoupe Swift Palladium HW
(This bag is NOT mine. I bought this for my good friend as she has been looking for one for a long time. This is such a lucky find as Kelly Lakis, esp. this all leather version in swift, is extremely rare, even rarer than Birkins!! I am still waiting for my perfect Kelly Lakis in Size 32 or 35cm in Vert Bronze or Bleu de Malte or Prune color......hope I can find it next year!)

Can you believe a Kelly Lakis 28cm swift is more expensive than a Birkin 35cm or shoulder birkin? It must be the massive hardware used on the bag....

(This bag is NOT mine again. It is for my college friend in Manila. It was such a lucky find as it wasn't available the 1st 2 days when I visited the H mothership store, and then one day, I just saw it sitting on the shelf of the H mothership store and I immediately asked if I can buy it and the SA said yes!!! It was the only piece in the whole of Paris!! When I told my friend I got her dream bag, she was in Cloud 9!!!)

I love Marwari in gold color due to the "tan" hue which is a very versatile neutral color!)

My New Celine Clasp Bag in Gray!

Dears,

Bonjour!!! I'm so sorry for the lack of posts as I just came back from Paris last week. I had a blast! I went there with my friend and we had a great time shopping and dining. We also had a short breakfast meet up with a fellow TPFer and her cute lovely daughter who happened to be in Paris when we were there. We had a nice breakfast at Meurice but sadly, we forgot to take pictures!! LOL!

Anyway, I will be going "back" to Paris (haha...yes Paris feels like 2nd home to me...LOL!) again this September with my husband to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. This coming September Paris trip will be a romantic trip with my husband, not a shopping trip. Paris is really a city which I love very much because of the culture of the French people - the way they speak, the way they dress up, the "Je ne sais quoi" attitude.

I am waiting for my big Hermes package from Paris to arrive (too many to carry them home by myself so I had them shipped to me), then I will do a very long Hermes post for my newest purchases, including 4 special orders of birkins.

For now, let me share with you some fresh new purchases from Paris......2 of them are Chanel costume jeweleries and Bottega Veneta sunglasses......and of course....my newest Celine Clasp Bag Medium size in Gray with aged gold HW!!

I have been in love with this bag since I saw it from the Celine website. It's a twist to the Chanel flap bags that I own, very sleek and avant-guarde.

The leather is so soft and exquisite!

Sorry for the lack of post after Valentine's Day. Have been busy "canvassing" different properties as we plan to buy an apartment for my in-laws so that they can live nearer to our home.

I simply love the art of layering....this patterned scarf with the same tone as the overall ensemble made the whole outfit "livelier"..:D

Peek-a-boo! Yup, there is a long necklace hiding under the scarf...

Amazingly, these warm and cool tones blend well together....

And do try to mix prints with the same color tone to make your outfit more interesting and original.

(I didn't buy the scarf & the blouse at the same time, but I'm surprised that they actually match!)

But I really prefer this outfit with the scarf...that's why I'm a "scarfaholic" because scarves add so much fun to outfits!!

I love doing all sorts of layering very much when I choose my ensembles. I am never a minimalist in fashion. :P Anyway, you might wonder what is "Mori Girl" or "Mori style" all about. "Mori" means forest in Japanese, so it means girls who look like they live in a forest. Mori girls are often seen in loose dresses, puffed sleeves, vintage blouses, A-line skirts, tights/leggings and many-layered ensembles. Lace, crochet, natural colors, earth tones, dusty pastels, and almost anything with a quaint, old fashioned appeal are Mori style staples. Mori girls are also drawn to animal, candy, checkered, floral, vintage or polka-dotted prints. The mori girl often looks whimsical or quirky, which makes her stand out from others in her own unique way.

I was inspired by "Mori" style as

it is all about layering to create a sweet feminine look that's a bit rough around the edges.

I am so lucky to own this piece. Thanks to a dear friend from the US (thank you so much J! You know who you are if you're reading this) who helped me buy it at Colette during her trip to Paris. I am so in love with the ruffles that I also ordered the other 2 styles from Colette.com which is a shorter jacket style and a cropped style.

This is a very heavy piece of jacket due to the massive layer of ruffles on the collar. It gives such an "oomph" factor to the whole ensemble!

It was love at first sight when I saw this khaki-green necklace from Marc by Marc Jacobs! I adore the zipper details, mixed chains and crystal charms!

And to match the feel of the entire outfit, I chose this pair of military-inspired Nine West booties...

And my Balenciaga Raisin PT GGHW again! Never get tired of this perfect purple!

My New Celine Luggage Envelope Tote and Outfit Du Jour

Hi Dears,

Do you find yourself making unplanned purchases? Well, this is exactly what happened to me!!! (Yeah, call it "Lack of Self Control" or "Peer Pressure"!! LOL!) Just want to share with you the story behind my new Celine Luggage Envelope Tote, which I never thought I would like! :P So what/who made me take the plunge?

This happened way back in October 2010.........when one of my good friends Charmaine from Manila was asking me about the availability of Celine Orange Luggage Tote in Hong Kong, and whether the "Envelope" version is better or the "Zipper" version is better. So, what did we do?? We spent the whole night analyzing Celine Luggage Envelope Tote vs. Luggage Zipper Tote - we were looking at pictures on the internet, writing to SAs, calling Celine boutiques etc.....like crazy! Finally, Charmaine decided to buy the Orange Celine Envelope tote and asked for my help to buy it for her in Hong Kong. So I called our local Celine boutique to reserve one for me (there were only 3 pieces of Luggage Envelope tote in the entire Hong Kong at that time), and hopped over to the boutique asap to make the purchase! And when I touched and inspected the bag, I found myself falling in love with the bag! The price is "reasonable" as compared to Hermes and Chanel, and the leather quality is great! So, pourquoi pas? LOL!

And then fast forward, I did some research myself on what color to buy, and immediately contacted my SA in Barney's to help me snatch one as I know the stocks are getting low in the US, and this bag is apparently so "hot" these days that it's basically out of stock in a lot of countries! So what color did I buy?

Voila!!!

I'm loving this Zara velvet long coat very much because of its special exaggerated shoulder.....

The black and white portion of the front (at the right side) of this H&M asymmetrical B/W tunic are not sewn together, hence giving it an asymmetrical/slanted finish at the bottom. When worn without a belt, it can be a great dress!

Well, "Red + Camel/Beige" is another favourite color combination of mine. :D In Chinese culture, the color RED represents positive and lucky things. Since the Chinese fortune tellers said that for the Year of the Rabbit, I need to wear more Red colors to enhance my luck throughout the year, I thought, why not start now? As Chinese says, "紅運當頭" (Red brings luck to your way)!

Some people might be "scared" to wear red color because it might be too "flashy". Actually, when paired with the right neutral color (like beige/camel), the red is mellowed down a bit and blends into the entire warm color palette. Must try!

You probably know by now that I am crazy about shoulder details! Princess sleeves! A big "YES" for moi!

This Hermes Medor clutch is now my favourite "go to" clutch for day time use! Love that it's edgy and the leather is really exquisite!

Love the ethnic vibe of this Kookai necklace.....and matches the tone of my ensemble perfectly!

One of my favourite Chanel earrings! Chanel seldom uses big loops so I'm so glad to find this in Paris last year! And look at the exquisite details on the CC...just perfect for Chinese New Year!

Lanvin...oh...Lanvin! I have been crazy about these Lanvin SS2010 Runway pumps since I first saw it on the fashion show!

(I was so crazy that I actually got 3 pairs of these in similar designs....this pair posted here, another pair in red with quilting details on leather and more pointed, the other one is a beige python with a slightly more pointed toe box...:P)

Bought this DKNY long cardigan from shopbop. Love the neutral color blocks on it and its asymmetrical "longer in front/shorter at back" design. Very flowy cardigan and perfect for dresses or jeans or leggings!

Loving my new Chanel Red (rouge fonce) washed caviar 2.55 Reissue which I got last December but didn't post it here yet....

I think Medium Size (28cm) aka. "226" reissue is the best size among all the reissue sizes! It's perfect for day and evening!

I chose a beige turtle neck with lace/ruffle details on the neck and cuffs to spice up the outfit a little bit...

Love that the pattern on the left and right sides of the cardigan is a bit different. And look at the red Chanel reissue! So nice with the beige/camel tone, right? :D

This is actually my 1st reissue in a caviar leather. Most of my other Chanel reissues are either crackled metallic calf, patent, matte wrinkled calf or python. I find that the washed effect on this caviar makes the bag even more "vintage" which I love!

Love the matte tarnished/aged silver Mademoiselle Lock very much!

Most of my reissues are in shiny ruthenium or matte gold/brass hardware so this is a nice addition to my existing collection!

This Rouge Caviar reissue is a chameleon as it looks a lot darker indoors, but it is a nice cranberry red when it's carried outdoors.

Love the special thick chain of this Kookai necklace and it's made of brass.

Aside from Givenchy bags, I also love Givenchy shoes too as their designs are unique! I always buy a pair or 2 each season! This pair was from FW2010 and I got it on sale from Barney's! Yay! :D

I love any leather which is tan in color...another weakness of mine..haha! Tan color is just the perfect neutral for cool or warm colors!

Pandora's Box and Givenchy :D

It's been a month again since my last update! Sorry I've been busy during the xmas & new year holidays, and then I became sick afterwards, then followed by my son, then me again and my maids, and now my son again. The cycle is endless, and it seems that the virus is really strong these days! Have you all taken the flu shots yet? I still haven't got mine, so I guess it's time for all of us to take the shot!

Anyway, back to fashion........:D

Why "Pandora's Box"? Well, I've always been very fascinated by the stories of the Greek gods since I was in Primary school, and one of the stories is about Pandora's Box. In Greek mythology, Pandora was the first woman created by the gods. The name itself means "all-gifted" or "all-endowed", as each god helped create her by giving her unique gifts. The "box" was actually a large jar given to Pandora which contained all the evils of the world and Pandora was told not to open it. However, Pandora didn't listen and opened the jar out of curiosity. When she opened the jar, the entire contents of the jar were released, except for one, which is HOPE. Today, opening Pandora's box means to create evil that cannot be undone. (Doesn't it sound like evil related to crazy shopping? Hahahahaha!)

I first encountered the Givenchy Pandora at our local shopping place named Lane Crawford. I saw a very mysterious box-like bag sitting on the shelf, and when the SA told me the name of the bag was "Pandora", I was even more intrigued about the form of the bag, how it can be carried and also amazed by the special wrinkled-effect brushed leather which made the bag so vintage-looking. I remember seeing a color beige (small size) and a color olive green (larger size). Literally, they really look like a box made of leather.

I finally took the bag from the shelf, and started to take out all the papers inside the bag to see how it looks. Amazingly, they look so cool and "avant guarde" when you carry them! It's not like any other bags and not many people carry this style which made it extra special!! The box-like bag became so body-hugging when I carried it messenger cross-body, and also put on my shoulder with the single handle. Totally different from what you see when it's stuffed with papers like a box! Needless to say, I was instantly sold!!! And guess what? Eventually, I got 2 different colors in 2 sizes.....hehehehe!

This is the larger size Pandora (they call it medium size) in olive/military green wrinkled leather with gold hw.....

And this is the small size Pandora in purple (with blue undertone) wrinkled leather with gold hw.....

Bought this purple from Luisaviaroma a few months after I bought the olive green one from Lane Crowford...hehe!

Comes with a separate longer strap for carrying it messenger style, and also the original single short handle to carry it as a shoulder bag...

This Missoni long socks I bought from Paris are perfect match for this pair of Balenciaga wedge booties...

Loving the special design of this pair of booties.....it's quirky but it's totally for moi! :D

My favourite part is the wooden effect of the wedge itself....see the patterns!! (BTW, I got these on sale too at Nordstrom! :D)

My new Chanel "Maharajah" earrings from Cruise 2011 collection..

I'm in love with any clothes with details on the shoulders.....:D This looks a bit like "big bird" from Sesame Street.....LOL! But I love it!

The purple color in this outdoor picture looks a bit exposed due to the strong sunlight. The purple is more intense in real life...

Speaking of Givenchy, I also have another bag style named "Tinhan" V-shaped tote. I bought 2 of them in total - one for my mom and one for myself.

Here's mine which is in "Petrole" colour with silver hardware (wrinkled leather)..so happy that I got it on sale at Barney's! :D

This is a really special color because it looks kind of bluish-green....like teal but not entirely teal color...sometimes it has some hints of gray too. A chameleon!

Meanwhile, let's keep the suspense going.....:P

Hope you had a nice weekend!

I don't know what's got into me. Maybe it's close to Xmas time, or maybe it's the influence of GLEE....I want cheerful colours on me. I simply love colours, the more the merrier!!

Speaking of GLEE, OMG, I am soooo hooked with the TV series. Maybe this show has revived the singer in me..hahaha! I used to be in the Drama Club and also choir during my high-school and college years. Also participated in singing contests in the company where I used to work. LOL! Well, I must say that singing/music is really a big part of my life. I just can't live without music!!

And I'm soooo in love with the actor Cory Monteith ("Finn Hudson" in GLEE)! He's simply too cute, handsome and gorgeous....wow haven't had a crush for a long time already! OK...lame. :P (Secretly wishing my son's look to be like Cory's when he grows up..hahahahahaha! Yah...I'm a crazy mom! "DREAM ON"!)

Recently, I really love the idea of dressing up sweat pants with a pair of heels or wedge.....

You must be really tired of seeing my yellow Hermes Tonkin Buffalo Horn & Lacquer necklace......but it's such a beautiful handy piece for mixing & matching! :D

The collar of this Kookai cardigan is actually made of chiffon which I really like....it is these kinds of interesting details which make a simple cardigan special..

Tan + Gray? Yes for moi!

I've bought this A. Wang Rocco bag for quite a while already....didn't have a chance to post it here yet. Really love the special quilting/stitching of the bag...a slight twist to the usual Rocco bags..

Love the vintage effect of the brushed tan leather with uneven colouring..

I like the zipper details too...it's an "A" shape....

Look at those metal studs at the base of the bag! These really made the bag heavy! But come to think of it.....I don't need to be scared in case I am being attacked by somebody....LOL! I have this great weapon to just throw the bag at that person...I'm sure this will make the person unconscious! :P

Sorry that I have been away from my blog for a while. I had been sick and lost my voice completely. My son also got a fever right after his 3rd bday celebration at Disneyland. Also, I have been busy with stuff which I need to do for my upcoming trip to Manila. I will be there this Sunday for 4 days without internet access.

Anyway, I want to share with you my recent new buys from my fave brand....CHANEL!

These are all new arrivals from Chanel Cruise2011....with special Xmas packaging!!! Enjoy!!

Even the special edition Chanel beige ribbons are so "Cruise" feel...hehehehe!

How can I ever miss these lovely Chanel jackets??!!!

They are just gonna be great to be worn as pendant, bracelet charm, bag charm.....

**But mind you, these are not automatically given to you. You need to tell the SA that you want it gift wrapped before they will give out the special Chanel jacket charms, one only for each box. Some other countries like Singapore even has a spending minimum before one can be entitled to this cute little jacket charm! Different countries have different policies though..but I'm sure worldwide Chanel standalone boutiques now all have the same Xmas packaging. Hurry up Chanel fans!!!

"BOHO GLAM" CC Brooch in Pewter color

This is the 1st thing I want from Cruise when I saw the new collection. Love the details so much! It's heavy!

This is a very good size brooch....horizontal is 2.5 inches, vertical is 2 inches...

Look at those fresh water pearls.....irregular shapes, elongated....love it so much!

I'm so glad I waited for this pewter color because it looks so much better than the light gold version in terms of contrast and depth...

Next up....something matching the above brooch....hehehe!

"BOHO GLAM" dangling CC Earrings in Pewter color

I love the fact that these earrings are not "one-sided" only. Both sides are with pearls!!! The CC is thick! LOL!

The hooks for these earrings are aged ruthenium....a little tarnished effect....but they look great just like that.

3rd item....

"MAHARAJAH" CC Dangling earrings in pewter color with fresh water pearls

Love the contrast of fresh water pearls on the earrings against the black beads..

And again, I'm so impressed that these earrings are also double-faced! Both 2 sides are with fresh water pearls and beads!!!

I had to grab this to match my earrings!!!

"MAHARAJAH" necklace in pewter color

This necklace has another light gold color with all white pearls...but I love the pewter color more for the contrast. The gold color falls a little flat.

Great details..

This necklace can be worn in 2 lengths....longer version until the chest area...or shorter version like choker.

"HIPPIE CHIC" necklace with pearls and CC crystal charms in light gold color

The picture doesn't do the necklace justice. This necklace is way more beautiful in real life!!

This "Hippie Chic" necklace is available in both light gold and silver. But I think this light gold version which I bought is way more beautiful than the silver one. (Hehehe..biased! LOL!)

There is a more expensive version of this necklace, with more tassels dangling at the bottom. But that version is a choker version and I feel like being choked when I tried that on....(guess my neck is too fat! LOL!) I'm happy that I went home with this version instead.
