I'm Hypnotized!! :D

So...it's all about shoes these days. The shoe craze continues on....

I was looking at what are the new stuff for fall, and came across these 2 pairs of patent shoes above from Christian Dior.

I've never been a fan of Dior in the first place, but I am just falling in love with these 2 pairs!! The collection is called "Hypnotique"! No wonder!! Hahahaha!

I think that the design and silhouette of these 2 pairs of shoes are really special. See the details. And with those gorgeous golden heels for contrast, these shoes really rock!!

Of course, I'm not going to buy them at full price...haha! US$990 and US$880!

Let's wait for the next sale again....!

Confession of a Shopaholic....aka. Moi!!!

So, it's the US sale season. Since I haven't really bought anything before during US sales season, I got so "carried away" this year.

After making a list of what I have bought, I was so shocked (but proud at the same time...hahaha!) that I actually bought 42 pairs of designer shoes in total!! I've set a new record I think!!

For the record, I bought:
- 14 pairs of Louboutin (and this is my 1st time buying Louboutin)
- 10 pairs of Chanel
- 5 pairs of Ferragamo
- 4 pairs of Lanvin
- 4 pairs of Valentino
- 2 pairs of Givenchy
- 2 pairs of Marni
- 1 pair of Pedro Garcia

Not bad huh?! You know, I am actually a shoe addict. I used to have around 500 pairs of shoes when I was still working and single. But after I got married and gave birth, I gave more than half of my shoes to my cousins as my feet grew 1.5 size bigger.

That's why I need NEW SHOES!! LOL!! Besides, it's so hard to buy shoes here in Hong Kong coz I have large feet for an Asian. I wear size 40 to 40.5 which is so hard to find here in Hong Kong.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for some to arrive. I'll take pictures of my shoes after I receive everything.

My first encounter with Chanel....

I started my love for Chanel in March 2008. It was actually by "accident". My husband was going to Paris for his business trip at that time, and asked me what I would like him to bring back from Paris. I initially thought of Louis Vuitton (which used to be my favourite brand for bags). But then, my husband said, "Why don't you buy a Chanel? It's classic and timeless.". So, this was when everything (aka. addiction) started. :D (Little did my husband know that this will lead to my current Chanel collection of 38 bags and a bunch of costume jeweleries.....hahahahaha!!)

My first Chanel was a limited edition bag from the 2008 Spring Summer Collection. It was what my husband has chosen for me. It was a patent leather "Coco Puzzle" black 2.55 reissue flap in medium size. The quilting is not the classic "diamond shape" quilting, instead, Chanel used a puzzle quilting and the leather was patent crackled calfskin with some texture on it. The hardware used was a vintage-feel aged/matte gold metal for the "Mademoiselle" lock and reissue chain. This bag was really special to me firstly because it's my 1st Chanel bag, but most important of all, my husband secretly put a "love letter" inside one of the zippered pockets in the bag. It was where Coco Chanel used to put her love letters too from her lovers. I was very touched when I saw his love letter. It brought tears to my eyes. This 1st Chanel encounter has been a very memorable experience with sentimental value. I'm officially IN LOVE!!!
