Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
Finally, it's getting cold here in HK, so I can now wear my fave knits, scarves, boots etc!! I love winter very much as I always think clothes for winter are much nicer than summer. LOL!
Anyway, just want to dedicate this post to one of my favorite....OWLS!! Owls are such mysterious and cool creature, so I really like anything with Owl.....like tanks, shirts, knits, accessories etc. I kind of collect them and buy whenever I see a nice "Owl".

That's "Owl" Folks!! Hope you enjoy the pix...:D
Have a nice weekend to you all!
Cheers,
Mia
Lovely owl ensembles you got there! I love owls too. I think it's their "stare" that makes them so cute!:)
ReplyDeleteBtw, did you happen to attend uni at DLSU? Was just wondering.... and yes, I do miss those college days spend back in Manila.... ah... so long ago... haha!:)
i love your prada bag and that cape! very chic and whimsical.
ReplyDeleteHi shockboogiedesign!!! Thanks! Yes yes, it's the stare of the owl! You've nailed the description! :D Grabe! Are you from DSLU din? Yes, I attended DSLU din....majored in Business Management. I'm from batch 1991. :D I still remember our tambayan there....hehehehehehehe!

Hi, Owls are so cute!! I love the metal heel on your green boots, so unusual! I must say you have one amazing Chanel bag collection!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
Pearl x
haha.. you gone owls crazy!! But yes, owls are too cute and they make good looking of all the accessories.
ReplyDeleteLove all your ensembles! I love owls too! b+ab makees great stuff! I will miss not being able to go to HK this Xmas. Is the orange owl pullover from the current season? Also, do share who are the HK and Japanese designers who makes your amazing accessories! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI love the first assemble most. Well put together! Btw, since you asked, I hope you don't mind telling me if getting a chanel in europe is cheaper than getting anywhere in Asia?
ReplyDeletecheers, bonvic
Hi Pearl, thanks thanks! Yup owls are really cute, esp. when it's made into an earring or necklace. I just love to collect them. Thanks again!
ReplyDelete************************************************
Hi R, haha....yes, I'm owl-crazy. You should use your Sonia Rykiel Owl brooch now. :D
************************************************
Hi Michelle, so you and I have the same name!! Are you from HK too? Yes, orange owl pullover is from this season. It has 2 other colors too - black and gray. But I love brighter colors on some cuter knitwear items so I chose orange. On of the local costume jeweleries designer shop I buy from is No Being. It's available in Seibu and Causeway Bay. When you visit HK, you can go and check it out. The other Japanese designers are from small stores around Causeway Bay area, it's like a treasure hunt in Causeway Bay with the mini boutiques there. :D

Hey bonvic, thanks thanks! To answer your question, yes, it's definitely cheaper to get a Chanel in Europe. Asia prices are way too high and kind of ridiculous, esp. in Japan. Anyway, if you're not an EU-resident, then you can get 13% tax refund back from your Chanel purchases in Europe. So that's why it's cheaper to buy there. Next is you can buy from the US as it's cheaper to buy there than Asia when it is shipped out as you don't have to pay US sales taxes, but you need to pay shipping though. Hope I've answered your question.

I love the little shops at Island Beverly and La Foret. One of my fave accessories shoppe is shop #125 at Island Beverly. They have very well made, cute and quirky accessories. Do check them out :) They have a sister store at La Foret too. I am mad about b+ab, as known as de base, Tsumori Chisato and all I.T. shops too!

OMG Michelle!! You have to be my twin sister!!! We have the same name and love the same brands! I'm a die hard fan of As Know As for a long time...as well as Tsumori Chisato (and A.T. too!). I love i.t. and I.T. too! You should be here now, you know?! i.t. is having this 40% cash back thing for every purchase that meets their minimum spending (like HK$1,500 minimum). Then you can use this 40% cash back to buy from another i.t. store, using it as cash. Hehehehehe! And yes, I love Island Beverly and La Foret as well! Shop#125...haha! I go there too my dear! Nice stuff! Glad you love the same things as I do. Hehehe...I'm a mom but I still feel young at heart! LOL!! (I hate to dress old when you're not yet 40....you know...I prefer to be at par with the youngster while I still can pull off that look. People can never guess my age. Hahahahahahaha!)
